Starting over

I deleted everything that was at this address.

Not because any of it was bad, but because none of it was mine in the way I needed it to be. A personal site should read like the person who built it. Mine didn’t.

So this is the start. The palette is pulled from my eyes. The serif is old enough to feel Bavarian. The tagline is a literal translation of my name: a gift of wonder. That’s not marketing — it’s etymology. Jesse is Hebrew for gift. Wunderlich is Middle High German for wonder-like. Whoever named us was doing something on purpose.

I’m going to write here about what I’m actually building — Nova, Sardonyx, Wunderlich Web — and about the harder stuff underneath the work: being deployed away from a one-year-old, losing my dad, trying to land a software business before my daughter is born.

If you knew the old site, thanks for being here. If you didn’t, welcome.
